Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring timely submission to the Group for all Spanish entities and compliance with international accounting standards. Own the financial performance, understand business trends, and prepare the Spain Reporting Pack, including explanations for key variances to budget and prior year, providing insights to management and senior leadership. Communicate results to the heads of invested companies and functional managers, maintaining close relationships and exchanging relevant information. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for Spain to meet Group deadlines and expectations, ensuring involvement and alignment of invested companies and functional managers. Collaborate with the transactional accounting team to ensure segregation of duties and process control. Develop, train, and manage a high-performing team. Support the transition of acquired businesses to group accounting policies. Assist in conducting Balance Sheet reviews. Respond to the Group's ad-hoc queries accurately and promptly.
