Postdoctoral Position in the Medical Physics Group at IFAE
The Institut de Física d'Altes Energies (IFAE) is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to develop radiation detectors for medical applications. The role includes evaluating detector properties, image processing and analysis, and leading and supervising PhD students.
Responsibilities
- Develop radiation detectors for medical applications.
- Evaluate detector properties and perform image processing and analysis.
- Lead, guide, and supervise PhD students and engineers.
Qualifications
- A PhD in Physics.
- Capacity to lead and guide PhD students and engineers.
- Proficiency in English and good communication skills.
- Experience in data analysis, programming, and detector simulation.
- Experience in detector instrumentation, particularly radiation detectors.
Contract and Salary
Full‑time contract (40 h/week). Salary proportional to experience and qualifications within the corresponding category range.
