Duties and responsibilities
* Strategy Development & Execution: Formulate the overall sales strategy for the target country/region, including market entry plans, channel distribution, sales targets, and profitability goals, ensuring alignment with Li Auto’s global strategy. Lead the design of localized business models tailored to the new energy vehicle (NEV) market (e.g., direct sales, dealer partnerships, omnichannel strategies).
* Team Leadership & Management: Build and lead a high-performing local sales team, covering direct sales, key accounts, channel management, and sales operations, fostering cross-cultural collaboration.
* Market & Business Development: Analyze the competitive landscape of the local NEV market (e.g., Tesla, BYD), identify demand from premium family users and B2B clients, and develop differentiated strategies.Expand key accounts (e.g., government procurement, corporate fleets, strategic partnerships) to build long-term relationships.
* Channel & Partner Management: Design and optimize the sales network (experience stores, delivery centers, distributors) to ensure brand consistency and service excellence.Identify and manage local partners (e.g., energy providers, charging infrastructure firms) to drive ecosystem synergy.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HQ teams (Product, Marketing, After-Sales) to localize offerings (e.g., RHD models, charging compatibility) and execute campaigns.Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize inventory and delivery cycles, enhancing customer experience.
* Risk & Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations (e.g., data privacy, antitrust, EV subsidies).Monitor market dynamics and adjust strategies to address policy or competitive changes.
Requirements
Education/Experience
* Education: Bachelor’s degree or above; MBA preferred. Major in Business Administration, Marketing, Automotive Engineering, or related fields.
* Experience: 10+ years in sales leadership within automotive/premium consumer goods, with 3+ years as a Country/Regional Sales VP or equivalent.
Knowledge
* Data-Driven: Proficiency in sales analytics tools (CRM, BI) to optimize decision-making.
* Business Acumen: Strong understanding of NEV ecosystems (battery tech, charging infrastructure, smart driving).
Minimum Qualifications:
* Strategic Mindset: Ability to balance short-term targets and long-term growth with actionable localization plans.
* Language: Fluency in English (mandatory). Local language proficiency is required.
* Market development: Proven track record in scaling overseas markets from 0 to 1, with deep knowledge of the target market (e.g., Europe/SE Asia/Middle East).
Preferred Qualifications:
* NEV or tech company experience is a plus.
* Cross-Cultural Leadership: Skilled in motivating diverse teams and bridging HQ-local collaboration.
