Location / Division Specific Information

The Fisher Scientific Channel connects business and science as the single source for laboratory equipment, chemicals, instruments, life sciences reagents, and consumables.

The position is remote and can be located in any of the 18 countries where we operate in Europe. Fluency in Spanish and proficiency in English are required. You will work in a diverse, multi-cultural environment.

The Digital Account Manager will focus on growing the low-revenue customer base in Spain. You will join a new team of Digital Account Managers and interns, driving growth across Europe.

What will be your day job?

* Develop and execute a strategy to increase sales within your territory, encouraging customers to self-serve on our website.
* Engage high-potential customers via phone, video calls, and social media to drive revenue :

Understand customer needs, evaluate sales potential, and determine the level of support required.

* Customize messaging based on industry-specific challenges and business objectives.
* Demonstrate how to use our website for ordering and support.
* Build a network of customer contacts for marketing purposes.
* Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to prioritize customer outreach based on growth potential and cost to serve.
* Transfer high-potential customers needing regular support to our Inside and Field Sales teams, working proactively to build momentum.
* Onboard and profile new customers, supporting their eCommerce experience from the start.
* Pilot new sales tactics, such as using LinkedIn for prospecting, and work as a team to refine approaches.
* Assist the eBusiness team in identifying, prioritizing, and resolving website customer experience issues.
* Maintain a sales pipeline in Salesforce to meet or exceed targets and optimize profitability through pricing strategies.

Education

* Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Science or Business

Experience

* Interacting with customers to understand and solve problems
* Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
* Persistence and overcoming barriers to success
* Experience in Sales or Customer Service is beneficial

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

* Self-directed and goal-oriented
* Excellent communication skills and rapport-building ability
* Comfortable approaching new contacts and handling rejection
* Digital mindset—skilled in using technology and social media for outreach
* Self-awareness and adaptability
* Entrepreneurial spirit—willing to try new techniques
* Proficient in English and fluent in Spanish
* Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Salesforce (SFDC) preferred
* Willing to travel across Europe (approximately 10%) for meetings
