Delivery Station Manager Jr is responsible for supporting the last mile operations within a delivery station. The role manages a team of over 20 hourly employees, overseeing safety metrics, attrition, payroll, shifts, vacations, overtime, and key operational metrics such as delivery efficiency, number of routes, and cost per shipment. Additionally, this role supports procurement of tools, services, and consumables for the station.

Delivery Shift Manager Jr should coach and mentor the hourly team to meet performance objectives, foster positive employee relations, and build organizational bench strength. The candidate will focus on improving delivery process efficiency and promoting a culture of customer obsession, safety, and best practices. This role also collaborates with internal teams, such as project teams, to launch new stations and design delivery models.
Responsibilities include:
* Balancing work and fun for associates.
* Ensuring team execution to meet business goals.
* Supporting process improvement activities and process mapping.
* Developing, documenting, deploying, and monitoring key business processes.
* Monitoring delivery station KPIs.
* Supporting organizational change initiatives.
* Analyzing KPIs deeply.
* Supporting customer service and other goals.
* Measuring driver performance, discipline, and customer experience.
* Executing internal audits.
* Participating in quality and process change initiatives to achieve continuous improvements.
* Implementing changes to enhance service and reduce costs.
* Developing delivery station workflows and metrics according to standards.
Minimum requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
* Basic English (A2 level).
* At least 2 years of previous experience.
* At least 1 year of experience as a people manager.
Preferred qualifications include:
* Bachelor’s degree.
* Advanced English proficiency.
* Experience with Lean manufacturing tools.
