Senior Data QA Engineer

Project Overview:
A global quick-service restaurant (QSR) brand with a franchise-based operational model is embarking on a digital transformation journey to streamline and unify its data and operational landscape across multiple franchisees. The brand operates in highly competitive and fast-paced retail and food service markets, requiring consistent, real-time insights and operational efficiency.
This project focuses on designing and implementing a centralised data integration and reporting platform to address key systemic challenges across the organisation’s franchise network.
Requirements:
Fluent English and strong communication skills within technical and non-technical teams
3+ years of experience in data testing and code review
1–2 years of hands-on experience with Informatica IICS, SQL, and Snowflake
Solid understanding of ETL processes, data models, and transformation validation
Experience working in Agile methodologies, including sprint-based delivery and story refinement
A hands-on, detail-oriented approach and strong sense of ownership for data quality
Responsibilities:
Review data-related documentation, requirements, and mapping specifications to ensure testability and clarity
Conduct code reviews for ETL logic and transformation rules implemented in Informatica IICS
Perform comprehensive data validation and testing at various pipeline stages, including source, staging, and final warehouse layers
Verify output integrity in Snowflake, using SQL queries to confirm logic accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and analysts in an Agile environment to support continuous delivery
Log, document, and follow up on defects and data quality issues
