Join our dynamic CNTO TLEX team as a Tooling Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in defining and designing tooling solutions for the construction phase of wind turbines. Imagine developing efficient and cost-effective tooling solutions while ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, quality, and safety standards. You will collaborate closely with technology teams, regional stakeholders, and other CNTO areas to support product development and project execution. Your expertise will not only enhance installation and commissioning processes but also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within our construction equipment and documentation.
How You’ll Make an Impact
2. You will conduct product analysis to determine necessary tooling requirements.
3. Define and validate conceptual designs in collaboration with H&S and expert technicians.
4. Create 3D designs and perform tooling calculations to ensure optimal performance.
5. Develop comprehensive documentation, including Calculation Reports, User Manuals, and Quality and Maintenance manuals.
6. Lead tooling FAT and SAT validations, ensuring compliance with established standards.
What You Bring
7. You hold a degree in Mechanical Industrial Engineering and possess a minimum B2 level of English proficiency.
8. You have at least 8 years of experience in developing and calculating equipment related to the Wind Industry, preferably on the construction side.
9. Proficient in IT tools such as NX/CATIA, FEA applications (Ansys, Siemens NX, Abaqus), Team Center/Windchill, and Office 365.
10. You possess a strong understanding of European standards for equipment design and various manufacturing processes, including welding and stamping.
11. Your proactive leadership and teamwork skills enable you to manage multiple projects effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
