Responsible International Area
Location: Móstoles, Madrid

International R&D projects
Your role:
 * Lead the International Area, enhancing the Institute's performance in EU research programs and increasing its leadership through coordinated proposals.
 * Improve the Institute's visibility and engagement in the international scientific community by participating in key scientific societies and forums.
 * Coordinate and manage European and international R&D projects and grants, primarily funded under European R&D calls.
 * Supervise the European/International Project Management team, ensuring effective project coordination, financial monitoring, reporting, and dissemination activities.
 * Identify and promote international R&D funding opportunities and support proposal preparation for Horizon Europe and other European and international calls.
 * Coordinate the Severo Ochoa María de Maeztu proposal, overseeing activities, internal and external reporting, economic management, and deliverables.
 * Contribute to the preparation of Institute and Research Unit budgets and participate in annual audits.
 * Monitor activity indicators and contribute to strategic initiatives reinforcing the International Projects Office.
Requirements:
 * Bachelor's or Master's degree.
 * Minimum 7 years of experience managing international/European R&D projects and proposals.
 * Excellent English communication skills (C1 level, written and spoken)
 * CV and motivation letter in English required.

 * Professional experience in tasks similar to the ones describe above.
 * Relevant training for the position.
