Test Engineer – Mobile & Web QA Automation
Location: Spain or nearshore (remote-first culture)

As part of a multidisciplinary product team, you will contribute to the quality assurance strategy of a mobile-first platform with global reach.

🎯 Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile and web platforms
* Execute manual and automated test plans, analyze results, and identify performance bottlenecks
* Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product stakeholders to define test strategies aligned with continuous delivery
* Monitor debugging outputs and test logs, track bugs, and support root cause analysis
* Contribute to sprint planning and backlog refinement with QA insights
* Stay current with emerging QA tools and methodologies, selecting the most suitable for each project
* Track and report quality metrics (defect density, open issues, performance thresholds)
🛠️ Required Skills
* Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in test automation within agile teams
* Hands-on experience with API testing (REST/GraphQL) using tools like Postman or Axios
* UI and end-to-end test automation for web and mobile (iOS/Android); experience with Maestro is a plus
* Familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js is an advantage
* Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
* Exposure to performance testing and basic data analytics is a bonus
* Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills
