MISSION OF AN OPERATIONAL DATA ANALYST @ ELAWAN:
We are looking for an Operational Data Analyst with an interest in the renewable energy sector to join our team to support the technical department and ensure efficient and effective wind and solar PV operational analysis in different countries located in APAC, LATAM and EU.
👉📚 What will you learn with us?
In turn, you will be involved in WTGs SCADA operational data assessments from different wind farm locations around the world as well as from different manufacturers (i.e. Vestas, GE, Gamesa, Nordex, Senvion).
Based in the HQs in Madrid and reporting directly to the Energy Resource Manager.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
👉💼What do we need your help with?
* Operational wind farm/solar plants data analysis and filtering.
* Performance analysis (power curves, nacelle orientation, etc.).
* Energy evaluation assessments (performance & monitoring of production at operating wind farms).
* Internal and external reporting.
* PV Plants Performance Ratio and Gain analysis.
* Development of programming tools and databases to manage information, measurement equipment and meteorological masts.
* Other duties related to the role as required.
ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:
👉✔️Why would you be perfect for this position?
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Physics, Engineering or equivalent university degrees (B.Sc. min). Energy related posgraduate programs would also be highly valued.
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE: No experience required. 1-2 years of experience in the renewables sector would be desirable. The ideal candidate would have previous knowledge on SCADA and/or AutoCAD.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: native Spanish and upper-intermediate English. Proficiency in MS Office 365 Suite will be valued (Excel).
