PThe bPortfolio Manager /b role is required to support the business through a structured and hands-on management of the variety portfolio. The position connects three essential pillars — Market, RD and Plant Material Assurance — to align product needs, innovation pipeline and material availability. The role combines operational product management with initiative and ownership, contributing to varietal planning, segment alignment and portfolio continuity. It supports sales teams with technical insights, positioning and commercial tools, helping to accelerate the adoption of new varieties. Overall, the position contributes to stable growth and consistent market execution across the region. /ppbr/ppbMain Responsibilities /b /pulliManage the varietal assortment, ensuring proper segment coverage, portfolio continuity and alignment between Market, RD and Plant Material Assurance. /liliPlan and prioritize varieties (entry, advancement and phase-out) and coordinate plant material availability, avoiding shortages for key launches. /liliCoordinate the cross-functional Tactical Teams (Sales, RD, Planning, Operations, Marketing) to anticipate issues, align decisions and support pipeline-to-market execution. /liliSupport product positioning and pricing proposals, and assist Sales with technical knowledge, field days, value messages, customer visits and key events. /liliPrepare success messages, go-to-market materials and basic marketing tools (presentations, variety sheets, launch content) to support adoption and consistent market execution. /li /ulpbRequired Education /b /pulliBachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy or Plant Science (Preferred). /liliMaster’s degree in Business, Marketing or Product Management (Preferred). /liliTraining in BI/Data analysis or Project Management is a plus. /liliHave been working with berries before is a plus. /li /ulpbRequired Work Experience /b /pulli5–10 years of experience in product management, commercial, or technical roles preferred in agriculture, or similar. /liliAnalytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn market and technical data into business insights. Ability to manage challenges. /liliExcellent organizational skills, project management capabilities, and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities. /liliDesired influence skills to lead multifunctional teams without direct reporting and strong collaborative skills. /liliPrevious exposure to berries, horticulture or plant propagation is a strong advantage. /li /ul
