URGENT | WEB CONTENT SPECIALIST | US BASED CLIENT
Digital & Search Marketing (Marketing & Communications)
The Web Content Specialist will maintain and enhance the company's website content and online presence. This includes creating new web pages, adding new content, images, and videos, updating existing pages and content across multiple websites, and editing and resizing images. They will report to the Web Administrator and assist in troubleshooting web issues and improving UX (user experience) across all relevant websites. The Web Content Specialist will help with user-facing aspects of the website, such as appearance, navigation, and use of media.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Help manage & maintain all Relevant websites, ensuring all frameworks and plugins are up-to-date and running smoothly.
* Understand project requirements and directions under the Web Administrator.
* Execute all projects established by the Web Administrator.
* Create new pages administer basic page & site settings, update content, and help resolve technical code or web issues.
* Develop and implement website policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with other team members, including marketing, content, and web development, to ensure that SEO strategies are aligned with overall business goals.
* Collaborate with other teams to ensure that SEO strategies are aligned with overall business goals:
o Internal Marketing, Content and Web Development teams
o SEO Analysts
o Inside / Outside Sales teams
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technical, Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
* Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills.
* Able to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
* Able follow direction of Marketing team members and work collaboratively with other departments.
* Experience with change, problem, and crisis management in an enterprise IT organization.
Qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience in website content management.
* Experience and a Strong understanding in CMS content management systems. Such as Wordpress & Magento. A strong understanding of Ecommerce platforms and product management.
* Experience and knowledge with working with Elementor, Woocommerce and Magento is a plus.
* Amenable to work onsite in a graveyard shift.
* Can start immediately preferred.
