As a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager, you drive cost management and project delivery for complex projects, interfacing directly with clients to ensure excellent outcomes. You will work within our cost management capability to support data centers and other major builds, shaping budgets and procurement strategies. You’ll lead cost checks, post-contract reporting, and value engineering input, influencing final accounts and client decisions. The role offers breadth across pre- and post-contract activities with leadership opportunities for the cost management team. • Provide estimate and cost planning, including final cost plan presentation
• Estimate at conceptual, programming and detailed levels
• Assist on feasibility studies and procurement reports
• Manage procurement activities and bid analysis, documents
• Post-contract cost variances and change control processes
• Carry out cost checks and valuations on larger projects
• Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present to client
• Contribute to value engineering and approve final accounts
• Maintain liaison with clients and consultants across project stages
• Provide leadership to the cost management team when needed
• Identify opportunities to develop new business with existing clients and report to line manager
• Suggest improvements to cost management procedures, templates, and products
Responsabilidades
• Minimum of 8 years' experience preparing cost estimates
• Experience in Data center, Pharma, Oil and Gas, preferred
• Fluent in English
• Strong technical experience in all cost management areas (pre-contract, post-contract, final account) xpzdshu
• Good understanding of civils, structural and architectural aspects of construction
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large, complex projects
• Experience advising on value management, value engineering, and life cycle costing
• Excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and team-oriented mindset
