What you'll do
* Supporting the development, implementation, management and monitoring of global privacy and policies and procedures.
* Provide day-to-day support to business teams and perform privacy, AI and data protection law assessments in line with PagoNxt's and Santander Group privacy, AI, and data protection policies and processes.
* Maintaining the ROPA for PagoNxt Group European entities and provide expert advice regarding Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and other risks assessments.
* Monitoring and informing about the latest developments in privacy laws and regulations.
* Maintaining records and documentation related to data subject rights requests and other privacy-related activities.
* Provide advice to product and operational teams on how to incorporate privacy into the design of new products and services.
* Promote a culture of data protection and compliance throughout the organization.
* Participate in the provision of ad hoc training and updates about privacy to the different teams to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
What we're looking for
* 5 to 10 years of experience in Data privacy
* Law degree preferred or equivalent experience with expert knowledge of data protection law and practices.
* Data protection certification such as the ones under the AEPD certification scheme, CIPP/E, etc., is preferred.
* Understanding of the acquiring and payments sector, information technologies and data security (preferred).
* Be able to work and communicate collaboratively/cross functionally with multiple teams located in different geographies.
* Fluency in English and Spanish
