Financial Controller Location: Barcelona (Greater Barcelona Metropolitan Area)
Job Overview As Financial Controller, your mission will be to provide reliable and relevant financial and operational information for decision making, collaborating with Regional & Local Controllers and reporting to the HQ Controlling Director.
Responsibilities
Partner with Commercial controlling to follow up Gross to net conditions, Price Increase and Global Key Accounts.
Prepare Monthly & Quarterly financial information and analysis.
Develop strong working relationships with all teams spanning multiple regional business and keep up to date with Monthly Business reviews.
Validate Consolidated monthly Results.
Perform monthly end results analysis (Full Fragrances P&L lines; by Market, by Brand, by Channel and Category).
Ensure financial data consistency and accuracy between the different systems (BW to Central Finance Migration).
Guarantee that the monthly closing process flows correctly to ensure timings.
Provide support on DTC (Retail & Brand.com) P&L Analysis.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance.
Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in controlling and financial analysis.
Strong analytical skills and experience manipulating large data sets from various sources, interpreting data trends, and extracting business insights.
Ability to be an active listener and ask relevant, incisive questions; confident, independent thinker with an analytical point of view to finance and business partners.
Proven working experience with SAP.
Assertive, independent, and self-sufficient, able to cope effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Good communication skills, personal organization, rigor, and attention to detail.
Fluency in Spanish and English compulsory.
