Strategic Sourcing Manager - H&T; Presspart Division
We seek a strategic procurement leader to drive category management across sites, consolidate volumes, and secure competitive pricing and terms. You will build and develop strategic suppliers, implement centralized frameworks (agreements, KPIs, contracts), and lead cross-functional sourcing with Product Development, Engineering, Industrialization, and local Procurement. You will standardize specifications, create cross-divisional synergies, and own market intelligence and risk mitigation.
Preferred location of the ideal candidate: Spain, Germany, or the United Kingdom.
Your key responsibilities
- Develop and implement category strategies for key materials and equipment across sites to leverage consolidated volumes and secure better pricing and terms
- Lead supplier management activities including qualification, evaluation and development of strategic suppliers to ensure consistent standards and strengthen key relationships
- Establish centralized procurement processes including framework agreements, KPI systems and contract management for critical categories
- Coordinate cross-functional sourcing initiatives in close collaboration with Product Development, local Procurement teams and Industrialization teams
- Drive market intelligence and risk mitigation by conducting in-depth market analyses, monitoring trends and implementing coordinated supply chain risk management
- Standardize specifications for common materials and equipment in partnership with engineering teams to increase harmonization and purchasing leverage
- Develop cross-divisional synergies by identifying opportunities to leverage combined volumes and share best practices beyond divisional boundaries
Your experience, skills and education:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in strategic procurement in manufacturing environments (ideally injection moulding)
- Proven success in developing category strategies and negotiating framework agreements
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across organizational boundaries
- Experience working with engineering and product development teams
- Excellent analytical capabilities and business acumen
- Fluent English required; additional languages beneficial
