Expeditors – Customer Service Agent

Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Process and manage daily customer orders and distribution accounts with accuracy and urgency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, proactively communicating updates and resolving issues with empathy and efficiency.
- Monitor and trace orders, providing timely updates to customers and addressing concerns with a solution‑oriented mindset.
- Generate and verify all necessary documentation for customer work orders, including special requests and inventory records.
- Perform accurate data entry for receiving, order allocation, shipping, and inventory management.
- Ensure timely and precise billing for clients and vendors, maintaining transparency and trust.
- Act as a liaison between warehouse operations and customers, ensuring clear communication and smooth coordination.
- Provide warehouse teams with the necessary documentation and information to support efficient receiving and shipping.
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with vendors, including transportation providers.
- Maintain logs for damages and backorders, ensuring follow‑up and resolution.
- Escalate complex issues to management when needed, demonstrating sound judgment and accountability.
- Support miscellaneous projects, research, and administrative tasks with flexibility and a can‑do attitude.
- Adhere to all internal procedures and external regulations, including Operational Process Standards (OPS) and customer‑specific requirements.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Understanding of transportation processes of all models is a plus.
- Good computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word).
- Fluent in English at least B2 (First certificate); evaluated during the interview.
- 6 months to 1‑year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Meet company standards of 52 hours training per year, including management/leadership training.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, and a professional manner.
- Positive and willing to help attitude.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven ability to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
