DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: IT or Logistics related degree EXPERIENCE:
• 2/3 years in an IT Business Analyst role within a logistics / supply chain organization
• Demonstrable analytical skills
• Significant knowledge and understanding of the logistics / supply chain industry and associated IT systems (such as WMS, TMS, OMS, etc)
• Capability to take the lead BA role on large size projects, often with high-profile international “Blue chip” clients
• Comfortable in operating in a wide range of business sectors such as Healthcare, Automotives, Technology, E-Commerce, Retail, Food, etc.
• Knowledge of SQL, diagramming tools, TMS, and testing software
ROLE DETAIL:
Reporting into the Delivery leads, and the IT Project Manager for allocated projects Working within the structure of the Project Management methodology (CPM),
undertaking a set of key tasks as listed below:
• Take a lead role in workshops, working with internal and external key stakeholders to identify and document requirements to define the agreed scope of the project, subject to the sign-off of all parties
• To act as consultant, co-ordinator and liaison between the various parties in the development / configuration build stage of the solution, working to ensure fitness for purpose
• Prepare test plans and conduct Systems Integration Testing (SIT) and reporting, as required, to professional quality standards, ensuring that the end-to-end data exchanges between organisations and systems works as it should, and that the systems are correctly configured to meet the documented requirements
• Support the user community in undertaking User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Support the preparation of the solution for live operation
• Perform implementation and post implementation support tasks, both on and off site, as required by the project. Projects are generally centered around / Client warehouses located throughout Europe. The role will be a combination of remote and on-site working, the balance of which will vary by project.
