Overview
As a Data Product Owner, you will be responsible for leading and management of our data products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, BI, engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of data-driven solutions that meet business needs. Your role will involve creating detailed product roadmaps, and driving the execution of data product initiatives.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and maintain a data product roadmap aligned with business goals and customer needs. Identify opportunities for new data products and enhancements to existing products.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and prioritize features. Serve as the main point of contact between business units and the data product team. Facilitate communication and alignment between technical and non-technical teams.
Product Development: Create and manage product backlogs, ensuring that the team is working on the highest priority tasks. Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for new features. Oversee the development process, ensuring that data products are delivered on time and within scope.
Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Monitor and analyze the performance of data products, using metrics and KPIs to drive improvements. Identify and resolve issues related to data product performance and user satisfaction. Continuously seek opportunities for optimization and innovation.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in data product management, BI, or data analytics.
Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex data products.
Strong understanding of BI, data science, data engineering, and analytics.
Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data management platforms.
Excellent project management skills, with experience using Agile methodologies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
