POSITION SUMMARY
Job Summary
The Finance Trainee supports the Finance Department in delivering accurate financial management and maintaining the highest standards of financial control within a luxury hotel environment. This role offers exposure to luxury hospitality finance operations, ensuring precision, confidentiality, and excellence aligned with premium guest service standards.
The trainee will gain hands-on experience across accounting functions, financial reporting, revenue monitoring, and cost control while contributing to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in daily accounting operations following luxury hospitality standards and internal controls.
2. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with high attention to accuracy and compliance.
3. Monitor and verify revenue streams including rooms, F&B outlets, events, spa, and ancillary services.
4. Assist in preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and departmental budget analyses.
5. Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
6. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and financial data validation.
7. Support cost control initiatives to ensure profitability without compromising luxury service quality.
8. Collaborate with operational departments (Front Office, F&B, Events, Purchasing) to maintain financial accuracy.
9. Assist with internal audits and compliance with corporate policies and luxury brand standards.
10. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding financial and business information.
Qualifications & Requirements
