Responsibilities Generate customer product specifications and answer technical enquiries. The specification includes:
Customer and supplier data
Ingredient list, allergens, intolerance data, GMO information, microbiological spec, analytical data, physical data
Foreign body control, storage conditions and shelf life, nutritional data, packaging information
Spec authorization, label examples, on-pack declaration, suitability info, HFSS info, certifiable ingredients/provenance, animal by-products, supply chain map to farm, safety and stability control for ingredients, RTE controls
Ensure compliance with BRC, ISO, legal and customer requirements by creating specifications in the required formats and language within the specified time frame.
Maintain and update documentation and customer requirement files as organized by the Team Lead.
Support the execution of Halal, Kosher and RSPO certifications.
Support audits, including Halal, Kosher, RSPO, BRC, ISO and governmental audits.
Collaborate cross-functional with sales, purchasing and R&D teams.
Communicate with selected customers' technical teams to build close working relationships and ensure their requirements are understood.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Biology or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in customer specification completion.
Full knowledge of customer specification requirements.
Knowledge of the food industry.
Fluent in English (C1 level).
