Manager HR Business Partner

Purpose of the role: In this role you are responsible for all HR activities, being actively involved in employee relations and primarily working in the Barcelona Hub Office. You will ensure healthy delivery and good governance of HR operations in Barcelona and Madrid, provide quality solutions for all HR management needs, and lead process‐improvement projects in line with Bunge's global and regional HR strategy.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Being the first point of contact for employees in the defined segment/function/site and responding effectively to employee grievances/needs by using HR Business Services, Centers of Excellence, and the HR BP network.
Supporting the budgeting process by assessing labor costs and forecasting department expenditures in line with organizational needs.
Overseeing the performance management process to achieve the desired performance culture and ensuring timely, high‐quality evaluation steps.
Advising on compensation strategies based on market requirements, competitive environment, employee career development, and annual benchmark changes.
Monitoring legal regulations to ensure proper implementation and compliance in the workplace.
Partnering with the legal function to resolve labor‐related situations that require legal action.
Acting as a partner to department leaders and managers for recruitment, orientation/adaptation, workforce planning, and resource selection aligned with company culture, talent plans, and competencies.
Monitoring employee engagement levels, creating improvement action plans, and implementing them with departmental sponsorships; guiding employer‐branding initiatives based on market needs.
Managing owned HR processes using KPIs, making data‐driven HR decisions, and supporting an analytical HR management approach.
Supervising the consolidation of essential payroll data monthly and ensuring controls and deadlines are met.
Representing the Human Resources Team to give maximum support to workplace safety policies, prioritizing safety, and participating in global and regional HR initiatives.

Skills & experience: Minimum 10‐15 years of relevant experience in a similar position at an international company; a legal degree is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication in Spanish and English; other European languages are advantageous. Proven track record as an HR Generalist in a multinational setting, ability to work comfortably across all career levels, statutory governance in Western Europe, and core HR process implementation. Change management experience is required.
