Overview
Integral Services Transition Manager role at Boehringer Ingelheim. The Global Services Transition Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective rollout of new Solutions and Services at global scale, focusing on omnichannel and customer-facing excellence across multiple processes, functions and regions. The role is accountable for planning and coordinating the transition of Solutions from pilot to global scale, in collaboration with Global Solution and Development Managers to align deployment and transition plans and ensure delivery against defined requirements and business case.
Responsibilities
- Co-create the solution and service piloting, scaling and deployment plan
- Transfer knowledge from initial building and pilot to global scale setup
- Inform relevant stakeholders to prepare for implementation and ensure readiness of markets, agencies and global services (including training activities)
- Lead Solution and Service implementation and scaling across all defined markets
- Ensure smooth handover from hypercare into business-as-usual setup
- Collaborate closely and agile with Global Solution Managers, Global Service Development Managers, the Solution Portfolio Management, IT Experts and other relevant Subject Matter Experts and Stakeholders across regions and functions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, change- or project management related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the Life Sciences industry, General Business Services or Shared Services, involving services development, transition management or consultancy
- Strong background in transition and implementation project management, planning & reporting including change management
- Operational experiences with processes and business process re-engineering/ lean management
- Relevant experience in omnichannel excellence and customer-facing excellence areas
- Solid understanding of process mapping, process management and service designs, as well as the mechanics of global outsourcing and offshoring activities
- Program, project and change management certification (e.g. PMP) will be a plus
- Lean, Six Sigma, Process Management, Design Thinking or similar education will be a plus
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and international team environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English in reading, writing and speaking – due to the global nature of this role, the job will be 100% in English
