Experteer Overview In this role you will oversee and coordinate airport operations at Barcelona (BCN), ensuring safe, high-quality service for customers and efficient performance. You will lead a local team and collaborate with the General Manager and regional leadership to drive operational metrics. The role involves safety, security, contractor management, and incident resolution, with a focus on readiness for peak periods and strategic enhancements. - Promote safety culture and enforce health and safety policies
- Direct day-to-day airport operations, including contractor management
- Drive overall airport performance and report to General Manager and Regional Management
- Champion customer service excellence
- Ensure staff and contractors are trained and updated
- Conduct contractor briefings and operational updates
- Coordinate station audits and represent AA with authorities and contractors
- Resolve team queries and operational issues
- Perform risk assessments and maintain safe working practices
- Attend management and regional meetings and manage quarterly Emergency Procedures drills
- Coordinate training for new hires and station readiness for high-season resumption
- Support GSC functions and oversee contracted security measures
- Escalate security issues to station leadership or Corporate Security
- Manage station budgets and monitor expenses
- Stand-in for General Manager when needed
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and cross-department collaboration
- Monitor costs and prepare the annual station budget
- Represent the department in meetings and conference calls
- Maintain liaison with partners and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with corporate standards and audits
