We are partnered with a leading $600m revenue software group that is expanding its team in Europe. We are seeking an M&A; Associate to join the M&A; team in Europe.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of M&A; for Europe, you will play a pivotal role in executing high-impact transactions and driving continued success in the software sector. This is a full-time, fully remote role with travel to Madrid once a month, encompassing the following key responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Support and oversee the execution of M&A; transactions, including due diligence, deal structuring, negotiation, and integration planning
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and valuation assessments to support decision-making processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external advisors to ensure alignment and timely execution of transaction timelines
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including target companies, financial institutions, legal advisors, and internal departments
- Support post-acquisition integration efforts to achieve synergy targets and maximize operational efficiencies
- Assist in developing and implementing best practices and processes to improve M&A; execution and integration activities
We're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field;
MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in M&A;, private equity, investment banking, corporate development, or related roles, with a proven track record of successfully executing transactions
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to conduct complex financial modeling and valuation analyses
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams and driving projects to successful completion
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast and dynamic environment
- Experience in the software / technology sector or related industries is a plus
