The role and its impact on Verisure Technology
The Compliance & ESG Strategy team is at the forefront of Verisure's dedication to sustainable innovation. As our product and service portfolio becomes more complex, managing sustainability and compliance in a scalable and efficient manner also becomes more challenging. This team spearheads the development and implementation of the company strategies within our Technology ecosystem, ensuring our Technology compliance and sustainability vision is aligned with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
We are looking for a motivated and analytical Compliance & ESG Strategy Associate to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity for early-career professionals with a background in consulting or strategic project management to gain hands-on experience in how leading technology organizations operate and how compliance and sustainability are embedded into global product portfolios.
You will play a key role in supporting and driving strategic initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate Compliance&ESG principles into product design, development, and lifecycle management, while engaging with senior stakeholders to ensure our products meet the highest sustainability and regulatory standards.
Main Responsibilities
* Contribute to the planning and execution of ESG and Compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with Verisure's strategic priorities and enabling effective decision-making across key stakeholders:
* Monitor and interpret relevant EU regulations (ESPR, CPR, Batteries Regulation, CRA, AI…), translating complex requirements into actionable plans for the business.
* Lead and support Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) for products and processes, leveraging digital tools and collaborating with product, engineering, and IT teams.
* Drive the implementation of Digital Product Passports (DPP), aligning with EU Ecodesign regulations and supporting data integration across our digital infrastructure.
* Engage with suppliers and external partners to collect and validate ESG data (PFAS, carbon footprint, circularity metrics), ensuring data quality and traceability.
* Identify and assess risks and develop and ensure the implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
* Develop/Support the development and continuous improvement of internal ESG/Compliance policies, ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory frameworks.
* Support within Technology team to identifying and/or understanding impacts
* Support to the Regulatory government affairs team for primary liaison with regulators and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication of compliance obligations
* Participate in industry working groups and stakeholder consultations, representing Verisure's voice in shaping future standards.
* Design and deliver internal training sessions to build ESG awareness and Compliance readiness across the Technology organization.
Experiences & Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields
* 1–3 years of experience in consulting, strategy, or project management roles.
* Previous experience within product circularity or technology compliance projects will be valuable.
* Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
* Proactive, structured, and collaborative mindset, with a passion for driving change and working across teams.
* Fluency in English (other languages are a plus).
