As a Store Manager at Trek, you will lead the day‑to‑day operations of a retail store, drive sales, manage staff, and ensure a world‑class customer experience.
Responsibilities
* Financial Performance – 50%
o Drive sales by leading from the floor and being one of the top two performers.
o Participate in annual budgeting, financial reviews, and team coaching.
* Staff Performance – 25%
o Lead training across all key areas, validate through observation and role‑play, and use tools such as Trek U.
o Host bi‑weekly leadership meetings with your leadership team and directly responsible individuals (DRIs) to review performance and plan ahead.
* Store Merchandising & Operations – 15%
o Maintain an organized, shopper‑friendly store with strong merchandising and displays.
o Oversee store operations including inventory management, supply management, and QuickBooks exports.
* Human Resources – 10%
o Manage hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and team development.
o Support all HR processes, including discipline and team engagement.
* Miscellaneous Duties – Perform other duties as prescribed by management as needed.
* Language: Fluency in English and Spanish. Catalan is a plus.
Qualifications
* Retail Know‑How: Solid handle on retail fundamentals – KPIs, profit & loss statements, budgets, and the numbers that keep a store thriving.
* Leadership Experience: Led a team for at least a year and know how to coach, inspire, and bring out the best in people.
* Retail Roots: At least 2 years in the retail world.
* Operational Chops: Experience with inventory, merchandising, payroll, scheduling, and customer service.
* Love for Bikes: Passion for bicycles and helping others discover cycling.
* Problem‑Solving Skills: Quick on feet and adept at figuring out solutions when the path isn’t clear.
* Communication: Clear, real, and respectful communication across email, huddles, and customer interactions.
* Comfort with Change: Flexible, resourceful, and ready to roll with fast‑moving retail dynamics.
