CEVA Freight España S.L. is seeking a dedicated professional to join our
Non-Trade Procurement
team based in
Alcobendas
.
Role Summary:
As a Lead Buyer, you will be responsible for
negotiating and managing Non-Trade purchases
for CEVA at the Country level. Your primary mission is the management of purchased item categories, such as
Vehicles & Fleet
(Vans, Trucks, Trailers, Cars, Fuel, etc.), and achieving the budget and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the categories under your responsibility. This role is vital for identifying opportunities for
cost and cash optimization
, while also ensuring compliance with CEVA standards and maximizing the company's interests in any commercial commitments taken with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define and implement Procurement strategies
at the Local level in line with the CEVA strategy.
* Lead implementation of Local Procurement strategies throughout CEVA.
* Foster
cooperation between Central and Local
, and ensure adherence to Global strategies.
* Conduct
needs analysis
on his/her own perimeter.
* Conduct
supplier sourcing
and market intelligence.
* Act as the
prime interface
for internal stakeholders as well as purchasing country to understand needs and communicate about deals negotiated.
* Manage the
tendering process, supplier selection, and contract negotiation
for the global panel in line with the costs and performance objectives.
* Negotiate and manage Non-Trade purchases
at the Country level.
* Be primarily accountable for managing categories of purchased items and achieving the budget and KPIs for these categories.
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for individuals with a strong background or interest in Non-Trade Procurement, specifically in the Vehicles and Fleet category. The ideal candidate must demonstrate:
* Experience:
At least
3-5 years
in a similar position.
* Education:
Business School / Engineering School.
* Soft Skills:
Negotiation skills
, Analytical skills, Communication skills, Project Management, and Relationship Skills.
* Hard Skills:
Proficiency in Excel / Power BI / SAP
.
* Ability to manage a
huge portfolio
within different countries (Spain, Italy, Portugal).
Qualifications and Skills:
