About the project
The Quality of Life Tour is a human field documentary and insight project exploring what quality of life really means in cities today.
After completing the first three cities, one thing became clear: the concept works, the conversations are real, but the documentary side needs a dedicated visual storyteller.
You can learn more about the Quality of Life Tour here:
https://businesshippie.club/quality-of-life-tour/
I’m now looking for a documentary-minded filmmaker, film student, or socially conscious visual storyteller to help capture the next phase of the Tour, possibly starting with an Athens pilot in September.
What we want to capture:
* Street conversations
* Local interviews
* City atmosphere
* Everyday human moments
* A possible small round table about quality of life
* Short-form content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube
* Material for a mini-documentary pilot
Who this is for
This opportunity is best suited for someone who cares about social impact, cities, people, documentary storytelling, and meaningful human conversations.
You do not need to be a big production company. A good eye, sensitivity, curiosity, and the ability to capture real moments matter more than glossy perfection.
Important note
This is not a paid production role at this stage. It is a co-creation / volunteer opportunity with credit, portfolio material, visibility, and the possibility to grow into a paid role if sponsorship or funding is secured.
What I bring
I bring the concept, field experience, interviews, questions, direction, and the Business Hippie / Quality of Life lens.
What I'm looking for
Someone with the eye behind the camera.
Someone who can work light, move through a city naturally, and capture real human moments without making everything feel staged.
Equipment
You should be able to bring your own basic filming setup.
This does not need to be a large professional setup. A good quality mobile phone with tripod or stabilizer, external microphone, and basic sound-checking can already work well.
A professional camera setup is very welcome, of course, but the priority is clear sound, steady image, and a strong documentary eye.
Interested?
Please apply with a short note about yourself, your interest in documentary / social impact storytelling, and, if possible, one or two examples of previous video work.
