Responsibilities / Tasks
For our Separation & Flow Technologies Division we are looking for a Market Manager to perform the following tasks:
- Meet annual sales and order intake targets for Environmental applications.
- Negotiate sales orders ensuring acceptable gross margin contribution.
- Increase GEA Westfalia market share and hit rate towards Spain and Portugal environmental customers.
- Support the Head of Sales and Head of Marketing in defining sales and marketing strategies for Iberia.
- Cooperate with service sales team to adapt service strategy to demands coming out from environmental customers.
- Manage and report the entire offer project process: customer contact, scope definition, commercial negotiations, and project execution support.
- Prospect and cooperate with external partners.
- Manage customer relationships and support product development and service sales.
- Collaborate with the Finance Department regarding customer payments.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Degree in Environmental Studies or related field
- Relevant experience in environmental market.
- Proven negotiation and contracting skills.
- Proficient English & Spanish (mandatory).
- CRM proficiency.
- Willing to travel across Spain and Portugal.
- Deep business understanding with a strong customer focus.
- Open-minded with strong problem-solving skills.
- Team player, excellent networker and negotiator.
- Outstanding communication and sales skills.
- Ability to engage with customers at different levels.
