Mediktor is looking for a key member of the integral finance team in the company who will provide support in controlling and accounting operations for the Group.
To cover a temporary leave, we are looking for a Financial Junior Accountant & Controller to join our team in Barcelona. In this role, you will be responsible for the Accounting and Controlling area, playing a key role in the finances of the Group’s two companies and providing financial and business analysis to support decision-making. You will report directly to the CEO.
This position is based in Barcelona, Spain.
Rol & Responsibilities
As a Financial Accountant & Controller you will be responsible for day to day supporting external accountancy vendor and reviewing data in the accounting system, monthly and quarterly closings, invoicing clients as well as various ad hoc projects.
Your daily activities will include:
- Managing all accounting operations including Billing, AR, AP, GL, Payroll, Cost Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
- Preparing month-end closings and all needed reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Supporting in preparation of investors reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Support in the creation and maintenance of the financial operating and internal control processes. Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Liaising and supporting external and internal audit matters.
- Supporting for tax preparation in Spain and the US.
- Additional controller duties as necessary.
Requirements and Competences/Skills
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 1-2 years of accounting and controlling experience. Strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting procedures and principles.
- Proficiency using Office (Excel).
- Able to handle confidential information.
- Enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment with continuous changes.

- Works on assignments requiring considerable judgement and initiative.
- Interacts with all levels of internal staff, as well as with external partners and vendors.
- Ability to work autonomously, with instructions on daily work and general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
