In this role you guide multilingual AI-enabled solutions, owning terminology governance and MT/LLM quality at scale. You will collaborate with Product, Docs and Engineering to ensure consistent multilingual output and integrate linguistic assets into products. You drive data-driven evaluation and continuous improvement of AI localization workflows. This is a chance to shape how AI-enabled experiences meet diverse global users while aligning with SAS’s standards and culture.

• Create and evolve glossaries, style guides, and linguistic assets
• Design and own terminology extraction and central terminology database governance
• Collaborate with multilingual vendors and in-house teams to optimize translation workflows
• Own MT/LLM engine strategy, benchmarking, and evaluation
• Define and evolve translation solutions and hybrid workflows across products
• Measure and improve MT/LLM quality per locale and implement improvement plans
• Lead multilingual AI capabilities testing and ensure alignment with standards
• Define end quality requirements and evaluation frameworks for MT/AI outputs
• Ensure security policies are followed in software development for multilingual features
Responsabilidades
• 5+ years in localization terminology, MT, or multilingual AI roles
• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Computer Science or related field (master’s a plus)
• Expertise in ML, LLMs, NLP, and data-driven customer experience
• Experience building/maintaining terminology xpzdshu databases
• Experience evaluating MT quality with metrics (BLEU, COMET, edit distance)
• Experience with linguistic quality frameworks and quality control for linguistic outputs
• Experience with localization tech (TMS/CAT, MT, LLMs) and CICD models
• Proficiency in additional languages
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Willingness to work across time zones
