Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys. Handle various payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Manage check-outs, resolve late and disputed charges, and answer, record, and process guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns. Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for check-in. Communicate parking procedures to guests and visitors, and dispatch bell or valet staff as needed. Provide guests with directions and local area information. Run daily reports (arrivals, departures), identify special requests, and verify report accuracy. Complete cashier and closing reports in the system, cash personal and traveler's checks, and count and reconcile bank at shift start and end, balancing receipts per accounting standards.
Follow all safety, security, and company policies; report incidents and unsafe conditions. Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and protect company assets. Greet and acknowledge guests according to standards; anticipate and address service needs; assist guests with disabilities; express genuine appreciation. Communicate professionally, answer phones courteously, and develop positive relationships with colleagues. Adhere to quality standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; lift objects up to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
