Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years in business development, sales, or a similar role within the iGaming or related industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive company growth and expand market presence.

Field Sales New Business Manager – Food Hygiene Industry (Catalonia)
We have an excellent opportunity for a remote based role in the Barcelona area, for a Business Development Manager with knowledge/experience of the food hygiene industry. You will live in the Barcelona region, speaking Spanish, Catalan and English to enable you to build relationships with customers and also work with the HQ in the UK.
This is a field sales role around the territory and all parts of Spain, normally visiting customers 4 days a week and one day a week arranging the visits, speaking with clients and completing admin tasks.
As a manager of the Spanish region you will play a vital role in opening and onboarding new accounts. Your primary focus will be on outbound activities, including phone calls, online meetings and visits to enable you to build a strong pipeline of potential opportunities that you will convert into Sales. It is essential to have experience of the food manufacturing industry or in a similar environment.
Day to Day
- Develop and implement effective revenue generation strategies to drive business growth.
- Utilise various tools and technologies to conduct outbound BD opportunities and effectively qualify to create quality deals.
- Qualify leads through strategic questioning and research to assess their fit with our products/services.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to hand off qualified leads and ensure smooth transition.
- Track and analyse lead generation metrics to optimise performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain rapport with key accounts through a structured approach of rapport building, face to face visiting and account development.
- Working closely with the UK to implement same strategies to secure and grow business opportunities in Spain.
- Field based role, at least 4 days a week, visiting new customers, producing demos and presenting the hygiene machinery.
How You Will Be Measured
- Submission of key KPI results in a timely manner.
- Tracking and recording of performance against agreed targets.
- Working as part of a team to deliver on budgets.
- Daily activities, client visits, conversion of leads into sales.
Requirements
- 3-5 years proven experience in lead generation, sales, or business development, ideally B2B.
- Experience of key account managing for small-medium sized accounts (£10-£50k/account).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a results‑driven mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM software and lead generation tools.
- Experience within the food machinery/manufacturing industry.
- Field Sales experience, face to face visits across Catalonia and Spain.
- Self‑motivated and autonomous.
- Willing to work as a team coordinating efforts and reaching the same goal.
- Coming from the hygiene/chemical industry, ideally within the food/sanitation industry.
