Job Summary
As part of HBX Legal’s Litigation & Insurance team, you will manage disputes and claims across jurisdictions, coordinate external counsel, and partner with internal stakeholders to mitigate risk and deliver efficient outcomes within a collaborative, team‑based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage litigation and pre‑litigation matters, ensuring consistent strategy, escalation, and communication.
- Draft and negotiate settlement agreements, legal notices, and dispute‑related documentation.
- Coordinate and oversee external counsel and advisors, ensuring quality, cost control, and timely delivery.
- Lead insurance claims handling, including notifications, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve disputes early and improve processes.
- Provide clear, business‑focused legal advice, risk assessments, and updates.
- Maintain accurate reporting and dashboards; track KPIs and identify efficiencies using Excel, PowerBI, and legal tech/AI tools.
Skills & Experience
- Qualified lawyer (Spain) with litigation experience in private practice and/or multinational environments.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with high ownership and attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills; PowerBI and interest in legal tech/AI preferred.
- Collaborative team player with high integrity and a strong service mindset.
