Overview
Globachem is seeking a Business Developer Innovations for South Europe to help grow our footprint in Southern Europe by launching innovative crop protection products.
Responsibilities
Commercialize Globachem's own developed innovative crop protection products in the different South‐European countries.
Provide market insights, map competition and competing products.
Build a strong technical basis and transform technical knowledge into compelling use recommendations to support quick and convincing market adoption.
Lead pre‐launch initiatives and support distributors to ensure successful product introductions through demo trials, technical training and presentations.
Maintain strong network of distributors, CROs, advisors and industry influencers in at least Spain and Italy and build such a network in other South‐European countries.
Coordinate annual trial plans to meet regulatory, crop safety, compatibility and sales requirements.
Represent Globachem at local congresses and symposiums.
Select distribution partners and set pricing with the responsible sales manager.
Work closely with Sales & Marketing, R&D, Product Development, Regulatory and Supply Chain departments.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Degree in Agronomy, Bio‐engineering or related field.
At least 7 years of commercial experience in crop protection and experience launching new products.
Fluent in Spanish or Italian (native level) and English; other languages a plus.
Based in South Europe (Spain or Italy) with flexibility to travel frequently to other South‐European countries or to the headquarters in Belgium.
Strong communicator with excellent negotiation skills.
Strategic and commercial approach in managing projects.
Hands‐on self‐starter driven by innovation.
