We are currently seeking a Category Buyer responsible for executing sourcing strategies for IT Equipment & Services to achieve cost savings, improve quality, and mitigate risks.
Responsibilities include:
1. Develop and implement IT Services & Equipment strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
2. Sourcing and Procurement: Lead end-to-end procurement processes, including tendering, negotiations, catalog management, and contract management.
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure procurement strategies meet business needs.
4. Develop a supplier base that supports the company's growth, quality, and innovation objectives.
5. Manage supplier performance through regular reviews and issue resolution.
6. Contract Management: Ensure contracts comply with company policies, legal standards, and risk management practices.
7. Monitor contract performance and compliance, managing changes or renewals as needed.
8. Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and service levels.
9. Develop total cost of ownership (TCO) models to optimize procurement decisions.
10. Report on cost savings and procurement activities to senior management.
11. Work closely with IT, finance, operations, and project teams to align procurement with project timelines and budgets.
12. Identify and mitigate risks such as supply chain disruptions and compliance issues, developing contingency plans to ensure supply continuity.
13. Implement procurement best practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
14. Stay updated on industry best practices and innovations in IT procurement.
15. Support standardization of procurement processes and cataloging.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
* Specialization in procurement of consultancy and services, with experience in an international environment.
* Experience with SAP ARIBA is a significant plus.
* Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel for data management and reporting.
* Proficiency in English, Spanish, and French is preferred; additional European languages are welcome.
