This role owns end‑to‑end management of the Global Refinish Private Label and Vendor portfolios, ensuring strong governance across the full product lifecycle. It drives portfolio optimization through close supplier collaboration, rigorous compliance with regulatory and labeling requirements, and continuous process improvement. Acting as the single point of contact for private label and vendor portfolio services, it ensures consistency, data integrity, and scalable global best practices. The position works cross‑functionally with Product Marketing, Technology, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Procurement, and regional commercial teams to deliver operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
Manage and own the Private Label and Vendor product portfolios across their full lifecycle (registration, launch, maintenance, change management, and sunset) in alignment with Global Refinish portfolio strategies.
Ensure accurate, up-to-date product master data, portfolio visibility, and lifecycle communication to internal stakeholders.
Act as the primary global interface for Private Label partners (OEMs, distributors) and Vendors on product portfolio‑related topics, documentation and issue resolution.
Coordinate creation, maintenance, translation, and publication of commercial product labels, Technical Data Sheets (TDS), safety‑ and compliance‑related documentation based on vendor‑ and customer‑specific requirements.
Partner with PSRC, Regulatory, and Labeling teams to proactively implement legislative changes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Private Label and Vendor portfolio processes, with a strong focus on efficiency, quality, and scalability.
Support digitalization, automation, and identify global best practices to optimize workflows.
Manage and coordinate Private Label and Vendor product‑related complaints in partnership with Quality.
Serve as a trusted portfolio subject‑matter expert for Product/Segment Marketing teams, Sales and commercial (KAM) and Technology, Training, OPS, and Supply Chain teams.
Key requirements
Hold a Master degree preferred in product portfolio management, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in an OEM environment, preferably within coatings, chemicals or industrial sectors.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Team‑oriented with a customer service mindset and ability to meet deadlines.
Analytical and process mindset with a data‑driven approach.
Excellent proficiency in English and German, both written and verbal, is essential.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Familiarity with ERP tools (e.g., S4/Hana), product lifecycle management, regulatory compliance is a plus. xpzdshu
