You'll find space to grow, real opportunities to lead, and a culture where everyone belongs and contributes. **** **What you'll do**The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the payments ecosystem — from acquiring and issuing to open banking and digital wallets — and will play a key role in shaping PagoNxt’s commercial strategy and market expansion.**Key Responsibilities*** **Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities** across the payments value chain (acquiring, issuing, merchant services, open banking, cross-border, etc.).* **Design and execute go-to-market and growth strategies** to expand PagoNxt’s presence in target markets.* **Build and nurture strategic partnerships** with fintechs, banks, merchants, and technology providers to enhance the company’s value proposition.* **Collaborate cross-functionally** with product, marketing, finance, and operations teams to align business initiatives with customer and market needs.* **Conduct market research and competitive analysis** to understand trends, customer behavior, and regulatory developments in digital payments.* **Develop business cases, financial models, and commercial proposals** to support new ventures and revenue streams.* **Represent PagoNxt externally** at industry events, conferences, and meetings with key stakeholders.**Requirements*** **Education**: Degree or Master’s in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field.* **Experience**: Minimum **5 years** in business development, partnerships, or strategic sales within **fintech, banking, or payments** industries.* Strong understanding of **payment systems**, including acquiring, issuing, processing, instant payments, and open banking.* **Strategic and analytical mindset**, with the ability to translate insights into actionable business plans.* Proven ability to **negotiate and manage complex partnerships** with internal and external stakeholders.* Excellent **communication and presentation skills**.* **Fluent English** (C1 or higher); Spanish or other European languages are a plus.**Preferred Qualifications*** Experience in **cross-border payments, embedded finance, or merchant acquiring**.* Familiarity with **emerging technologies** such as APIs, AI, and blockchain in payments.* Background in both **corporate and startup/scale-up environments**.**What We Offer*** The opportunity to **shape the future of payments** within a global fintech backed by the Santander Group.* Professional growth and international career development opportunities.* A **dynamic, innovative, and collaborative** environment that values initiative and creativity.******What can earn you extra points*** Desirable and valuable an exisitng network of fintech, Payment Service Providers and other payments related companies.**** **What we offer** Medical insurance Dental insurance Wellhub Life insurance Annual healthcare Transportation allowance Meal voucher/food voucher Annual Bonus Access to self-development programmes Hybrid Collaborative environment: Successful candidate must be prepared to work 60% on site**** **Next step**Apply and if you know someone who might be looking for this opportunity, share it.***\*Only candidates with a European visa will be considered.***
