**Location**: Mediterranean (Summer) / Caribbean (Winter).
**Position Type**: Full-time, Rotational (2:2 or 3:3 Rotation).
**Joining Date**: Adaptable, but aiming for September.
Tasks
**Financial Management**:
- Oversee the yacht’s budget and expenses.
- Handle crew payroll and manage financial transactions.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and manage petty cash.
**Crew Management**:
- Coordinate crew schedules, rotations, and travel arrangements.
- Manage crew recruitment, training, certifications, and welfare.
- Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and labor laws.
**Guest Services**:
- Manage guest preferences and coordinate itineraries and onshore activities.
- Liaise between guests and the crew to ensure exceptional service.
- Oversee hospitality services, including catering and housekeeping.
**Logistics and Supply Chain Management**:
- Organize procurement of supplies, equipment, and provisions.
- Coordinate deliveries and manage inventory.
- Ensure the yacht is well-stocked with necessary items for both guests and crew.
**Documentation and Compliance**:
- Maintain up-to-date ship documentation and certifications.
- Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations.
- Handle customs and immigration procedures.
- Keep accurate records of all operations and incidents.
**Communication and Coordination**:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the yacht and shore-based management.
- Coordinate with port authorities, marinas, and service providers.
- Facilitate communication among different departments on the yacht.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Purser on yachts or in a similar high-level administrative role.
- Strong financial experience and in budget management.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a diverse crew.
- Exceptional guest service skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of maritime regulations and compliance.
