Join our team
You will join Tactical & Contract Engagement (T&CE) which is a team within BCSS Sales and Commercial Management. In your role, you will focus on servicing one of the BCSS Solution Areas: Business & Operations Support Systems (SA BOS) and their GTM strategy from a contract management perspective. SA BOS designs and delivers software and IT solutions that help telecom operators run their business and networks more efficiently, including tools for managing customers, billing, and network operations, available as ready‐made products or customized services.
What you will do
Act as a change agent to support evolution in contracting approach for SA BOS, executing a more IT‐style of contracting and engagement than Ericsson's traditional telco base.
Evolve Contracting Templates in support of SA BOS strategic direction.
Support the evolution of the SA BOS portfolio from a contracting perspective, articulating the contractual guiderails and clauses needed for new offerings with new technology base & risk profile (e.g., aaS, AI content).
Develop and evolve guidance (e.g., golden rules, model clause examples) and embed this in practice by providing training & workshops to the BA & MA communities to support continual development and improve contract discipline.
Act as BCSS Contract Management SME & provide support to wider Sales and Commercial Management & SA BOS teams and assigned geographies on selected customer engagements, including supporting customer negotiation.
Harvest good practice examples aligned to strategy across assigned MA(s).
Guide and assist on interpretation of contractual clauses and obligations as required by the business with reference to Group Legal, including recommendations to BCSS Head of Sales & Commercial Management on escalated deviations from Ericsson wanted positions.
Provide Contract Management expertise into other SCM projects and programs.
The skills you bring
Awareness of contractual and business law and ability to deliver high quality contract drafting.
Ability to support negotiations, ideally leading contractual negotiation and customer discussion.
Ability to communicate & influence at senior level.
Creative, innovative mind‐set to develop well thought‐through approaches and overcome contractual challenges.
Confidence to work self‐managed in a fast‐paced and exciting environment.
WorldCC / IACCM certification or equivalent is a plus.
Proficiency in English both written and oral is a must; additional multiple languages are a plus.
