The Global Integrated Engineering (GIE) Project Manager is responsible for managing projects by providing leadership and guidance to one or multiple project teams, ensuring end-to-end management of GIE projects for the business. The role requires domestic and international travel up to 30%.
Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive end-to-end project plans in accordance with the BU QMS and project management guidance and objectives. This includes scope, objectives, timelines, CAPEX and OPEX budgets, prioritisation, to ensure successful project completion.
Project types: Capacity, compliance, safety, digitalization, architecture, NPD, CTW (Change to Win), crisis, retrofit, and facilities.
Lead, coordinate collaboration and communication among project stakeholders and supportive function leaders as well as all cross‑functional teams.
Identify and mitigate potential project risks.
Control and monitor project budgets, track and evaluate project performance using important metrics.
Communicate program updates to functional management and executive leadership.
Conduct postmortem project reviews to identify best practices and areas to improve.
Coordinate activities in case of changes in project scope, schedule, costs, ensuring partners are informed and aligned with changes.
Lead sharing of best practices and lessons learned among team members across the organization to drive continuous improvement in DFMA/CAPEX integration projects.
Research and evaluate new project management technologies/solutions that can enhance industrialization initiatives and optimize CAPEX investments.
May participate in R&D or large capacity projects core teams as a team member.
Qualifications
Highly motivated, dynamic, customer‑centric project manager who thrives in a meaningful and changing environment.
Minimum 3 years of experience (preferred in operations and/or advanced manufacturing engineering).
Confirmed leadership in project and capital management.
Minimum B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, industrial, material or equivalent), business or life sciences.
Ability to influence people and teams at all levels without direct authority.
Proven success in building employee engagement; creating, presenting, and building understanding of a shared vision.
Experience navigating self and teams in cross‑functional environments and/or matrix organizations.
Successful record of accomplishment in Lean manufacturing preferred.
PMP certification a plus.
Fluent English skills in writing and speaking.
Benefits
Salary range: €37,700 – €52,800 per year.
Location
Primary Work Location: ESP Huesca - Fraga; Additional Locations: ESP San Agustin del Guadalix.
