At Fourthline, our mission is to fight financial crime. We help protect the global financial system by verifying millions of identities for banks, neobanks, online brokers, crypto exchanges, and insurers. Since January 2018, we have grown to around 250 employees across our Amsterdam and Barcelona offices with over 50 nationalities.
Responsibilities
Assess the technical challenge of the customer, translating the customer’s challenge into a solution that delivers value from leveraging Fourthline’s proprietary solutions.
Collaborate with the customer as the technical expert from the pre-sales stage, through to a seamless transition to delivery.
Own the technical aspect of the sales cycle and convey a combination of deep technical and solutioning expertise, communication skills, commercial savviness, and coordination between customers and internal Fourthline teams to achieve the mission.

Key Focus Areas
Tailor and conduct in-depth explorations of our products, moving beyond traditional demos. Understand and present the nuances of our offerings to potential clients.
Take ownership of the RfX lifecycle, ensuring a seamless process from request to delivery.
Act as custodian of the Solution Design and Statements of Work (SOW).
Manage Proof of Concepts end-to-end, delivering tangible results.
Define and manage a business case for new solutions or features.
Engage as the pre-sales technical counterpart for customer engineering teams to bridge the technical gap and facilitate effective communication.
Bring practical experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, solutions consulting or technology consulting; proven experience in a B2B SaaS environment is a big plus.
About You
You have demonstrated experience in Solution Engineering/Technology Consulting (minimum of 5 years).
You have proven technical proficiency in APIs & integration, information security, SaaS, and cloud-native architecture; experience in a regulated financial environment is a plus.
You possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a master’s degree is a plus.
You are adaptable with innovative thinking and an awareness of fintech architectures and traditional financial institutions.
You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
You have facilitation and innovative proposition delivery skills, and enjoy delivering unique market propositions.
Joining as a Senior Solution Engineer, you’ll be an essential addition to the Solution Engineering team. Your team will focus on acquiring and integrating customers seamlessly, and you will collaborate with Marketing, Direct Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams on a daily basis to collectively fight financial crime.
