About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead business growth across the Spanish market in the packaging sector.
The idóneo candidate is a proven hunter with strong expertise in rigid packaging solutions, capable of identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with leading FMCG, food, beverage, personal care, and healthcare companies.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development: Drive sales growth by identifying, prospecting, and winning new clients across Iberia.
Market Expansion: Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand presence in key market segments.
Customer Engagement: Build long-term relationships with decision-makers (procurement, packaging development, sustainability teams, operations).
Sales Cycle Ownership: Lead the full sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal technical, design, and operations teams to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
Market Intelligence: Monitor trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to feed into strategic business planning.
Qualifications & Experience (M/F/D)
Proven track record (6+ years) in sales and business development within injection-molded packaging or closely related rigid packaging solutions.
Strong hunter profile with demonstrated ability to open new accounts and deliver revenue growth.
Deep knowledge of Spanish packaging markets and existing network with FMCG and/or industrial customers.
Solid commercial acumen, negotiation, and contract management skills.
Fluent in English.
