Experteer Overview
In this role you will provide expert legal counsel on digitalization, software, data privacy, and cybersecurity to support Avery Dennison’s customer-facing digital solutions and global operations. You will partner with IT, Technology, and commercial teams to draft and negotiate technology agreements, and to guide multi-jurisdictional compliance and risk management. You’ll build general templates and guidance on data use rights and AI terms, while coordinating with external counsel on complex matters. This role combines legal expertise with strategic business impact in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Review, draft, and negotiate technology agreements including SaaS, hardware, AI procurement, professional services, JDA and collaboration agreements
• Provide strategic advisory to commercial teams on multi-jurisdictional transactions, litigation resolution, and regulatory compliance
• Develop and improve global legal templates (Tu0026Cs, SaaS, SLAs, AI terms, API licenses, System Integrator offerings, E-commerce terms) and guidance on liability and data use rights
• Monitor digital legislation developments and manage relationships with external counsel for specialized projects and litigation
• Deliver training to legal and business teams on digital topics and collaborate with Compliance on conduct and values
• Role based in Oegstgeest with occasional international travel (~10%)
Responsabilidades
• Qualified EU lawyer with LL.B. or LL.M. and 5+ years post-bar experience
• Deep experience drafting and negotiating SaaS, AI terms, and hardware licensing agreements in the tech sector
• Strong understanding of cloud computing, IoT, IP, and data privacy/security
• Ability to articulate complex legal concepts to engineers and senior executives
• Solution-oriented, able to handle multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
