Role Summary


The Global Success Lead plays a central role in how Vela delivers consistent, world-class service across regions. Based in Barcelona, this person helps connect our commercial and operational teams so programs are developed, quoted, and implemented successfully. The role supports Sales and GPS on the front end while protecting the standards, processes, and communication flows that ensure reliable execution with our factories.


By building and coordinating clear global frameworks — and making sure teams follow them — this role helps Vela operate as one aligned company around the world.


Key Responsibilities


1. Global Commercial Coordination


* Connect Sales, GPS, and regional operations so programs move smoothly from quoting and development to onboarding and execution.
* Ensure cross-regional communication is clear and consistent.
* Support the commercial team by giving structure, visibility, and follow-through on global priorities.


2. Program Development & Implementation Support


* Partner with Sales and GPS on program setup, quoting inputs, sampling coordination, and early program definition.
* Lead global onboarding for brands and factories, ensuring standards and expectations are understood and followed.
* Keep regional teams aligned on timelines, requirements, and launch milestones.


3. Protecting Operational Standards


* Ensure programs are built correctly upfront so our factories can execute seamlessly.
* Flag risks early (capacity, forecasting, onboarding gaps, stock visibility, quality concerns) and work with regions to resolve.
* Maintain alignment between commercial commitments and what operations can deliver.


4. Global Frameworks & Processes


* Manage and evolve global frameworks like the Vela Ordering Guide (VOG), program onboarding standards, and communication guidelines.
* Coordinate development of our factory-facing ordering portal and ensure global adoption when implemented.
* Promote consistency and best practices across markets.


5. Cross-Regional Rhythm & Visibility


* Maintain the global operating rhythm across Europe, Asia, and the US.
* Consolidate key inputs — program updates, forecast changes, order flow trends — into clear global visibility.
* Work with regional teams to keep demand planning, capacity planning, and execution aligned.


6. Support for Sales Teams


* Give sales visibility into program status, onboarding readiness, and execution health.
* Help sales teams position Vela properly with brands by ensuring standards and processes are tight.
* Make sure the commercial team is supported with clear documentation, structure, and follow-through.


7. Partnership with Customer Service Teams


* Work closely with Customer Service to strengthen onboarding, communication flows, and escalation clarity across regions.
* Ensure CS teams have visibility into program requirements, timelines, and updates.
* Align on reporting needs so global reporting provides clear, accurate visibility to commercial and operations teams.
* Support CS in maintaining consistent service levels across markets through clear frameworks and standards.



Skills & Experience


* 4–7 years in commercial operations, global program management, supply chain coordination, or related fields.
* Experience supporting both commercial and operational teams in a global context.
* Strong coordination and communication skills; capable of influencing without authority.
* Ability to bring structure, consistency, and clarity across regions.
* Comfortable with forecasting, order flow visibility, and program management.
* Experience with ERP/CRM systems (NetSuite, Salesforce) is beneficial.
* Fluent English required; any other languages are a plus.
