Overview
As a Credit & Collections Specialist for Denmark, you will be responsible for managing credit risk and collection activities across multiple business units (X-SBU), primarily within the Architectural segment. Working closely with a Danish colleague based in Søborg, you will ensure timely payments, maintain accurate records, and support customer relationships while adhering to PPG’s credit policies and procedures.
Location: This position can be based in Rubí, Spain or Brno, Czech Republic
Key Requirements
* Fluent in Danish and English
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
* 1–2 years of experience in credit & collections or customer service
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
* Service-minded and empathetic approach to customer interactions
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP systems (AX preferred)
* Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a matrix organization
Main Responsibilities
* Review and manage open accounts for collection
* Conduct collection calls and emails to recover overdue payments
* Handle blocked orders and assess credit limits per policy
* Maintain accurate collection files and customer records
* Resolve disputes and document root causes
* Support integration of new acquisitions or business extensions
