Experteer Overview In this role you architect end-to-end event streaming for enterprise clients using Confluent Platform and Cloud, shaping real-time data flows and AI/ML integration. You collaborate with cross-functional teams within the COE and client accounts to deliver scalable streaming solutions and governance. You drive architecture reviews, POCs, and workshops while mentoring peers, contributing to IBM’s hybrid cloud and AI transformation. - Architect end-to-end event streaming solutions with Confluent Platform and Cloud
- Design complex stream processing pipelines using Flink SQL (stateful ops, windowing, joins, UDFs)
- Define connector strategies for source/sink integrations across databases, SaaS, and cloud services
- Lead AI/ML integration design linking real-time Kafka streams with model inference and feature stores
- Establish Schema Registry governance, data contracts, and topic design standards for the COE
- Conduct architecture reviews, proofs-of-concepts, and technical workshops for client accounts
- Mentor architects and developers within the COE on Confluent best practices
- Own the effort estimation model and related solution guidanceResponsabilidades
- 8+ years of Kafka/Confluent architecture experience in enterprise environments
- Expert-level Flink SQL skills (stateful processing, UDFs, functions)
- Deep knowledge of Confluent Connectors configuration and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience integrating Kafka with AI/ML platforms and MCP server frameworks
