CRM, Customer Success & Marketing Automation Associate – Mautic Specialist

(Remote ‑ CET ± 4 h) This hybrid role combines hands-on Mautic expertise with multichannel campaign management and customer success coordination across clients, internal development teams, and the CEO. You will serve as both the technical marketing operator ensuring campaigns run smoothly and the primary contact delivering ongoing value for our managed deliverability and profit-optimized ESP offering.

Key Responsibilities
* Technical Operations & Analytics
* Manage the Mautic stack: installations, upgrades, plugins, security, and server access via SSH to audit and optimize cronjobs (segments, campaigns, webhooks, backups).
* Identify and fix misconfigurations like duplicate triggers or missing workers; execute SQL queries on Amazon Athena to validate KPIs and generate insights.
* Monitor deliverability using tools like InboxTracker, Litmus, and MXToolBox to maintain inbox placement >95%.
* Integrate Mautic with websites, e-commerce, CDP, BI, and ad platforms via API/Webhooks.
* Customer Success & Coordination
* Serve as the main success contact for assigned accounts: schedule stand-ups, gather requirements, translate into tickets, track SLAs.
* Coordinate hand-offs between development, CEO/PM, and clients; ensure clarity on expectations, blockers, and ETAs.
* Present weekly performance reports highlighting growth metrics and next steps, collect feedback, and convert into backlog items or optimization ideas.
* Project Prioritization & Growth
* Co-own JIRA boards with the CEO, prioritize tasks to maximize ROI.
* Run experiments (subject-line tests, new segments) and measure impact.
* Prospect and scope new customers fitting the profile of 10+ million emails/month.
Traits & Skills We Value
* 2–4 years CRM/Marketing Automation experience, with at least 1 year as the primary Mautic owner.
* Proficiency in SQL, especially Amazon Athena (window functions, partitions, cost control).
* Linux CLI skills: cron, log grep, bash scripting, with LLM assistance but responsible use.
* Ability to explain technical concepts to marketers and roadmap trade-offs to executives.
* Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and a 'definition of done' mindset.
* Agility and lean resourcefulness in delivering value quickly.
* Mastery of AI tools (ChatGPT/Copilot) for drafts and queries.
* Bonus: Experience with Optimove, Bird.com, Klaviyo, Braze, or Iterable; French language skills.

Success Milestones in 30/60/90 Days
* 30 Days: Set up a new sending domain for an existing client, including DNS, warm-up, SES credentials, Mautic configuration, documentation, and coordination.
* 60 Days: Own customer success for one account: achieve 4 weeks of growth in active users, clicks, volume, revenue; conduct weekly syncs, identify issues, proactively resolve, and upgrade.
* 90 Days: Manage 3 clients end-to-end with minimal CEO intervention, and proactively source a new customer.
