Could you be the full-time Certification & Authorisation Engineer in Barcelona we're looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your certification expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside young and proactive teammates.
You'll support the C&A Manager in the Certification & Authorization process to obtain and maintain from relevant authorities vehicle(s) regulatory certifications and/or authorisations for test and for operation from the relevant authorities. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, rams) and much more.
You'll specifically take care of preparing, in close collaboration with the other project team members, the certification evidence needed to obtain those certification & authorization all along the project's life .
We'll look to you for:
Carry out dedicated activities within the C&A processes in accordance with the C&A management. plan during all project phases
Support the C&A Manager in the identification and preparation of requirements for Certification and/or Authorization
Support the C&A Manager in the preparation of evidence plans (e.g. for TSIs or National Rules) with the project team
Collect and compile the C&A evidence (e.g. for Pre-engagement, vehicle type Authorization, vehicles Authorization) to be submitted to conformity assessment bodies and/or the authorising entities
Organise periodic reviews of evidence documentation and assessment reports
Maintain the certification related data in the requirement management tools (e.g. -Doors/Excel)
Compile and keep track of C&A relevant reporting (e.g. KPI, Cost overview)
Collaborate with the project team: Engineering, RAMS, Quality, Planning, Validation, Maintenance, Sourcing
Collaborate with independent assessors (e.g. NoBo, DeBo, AsBo) and authorising entities (e.g. ERA or NSA)
Participate to the modifications follow-up of the certified/authorised vehicle configuration(s)

Master's Degree (Engineering, Physical Sciences or others) Or Technician/Certified Engineer (+2 years' experience in Railways)
Experience in Engineering projects
Experience in railway sector (minimum 3 years)
Knowledge of railway satandards and regulations
Knowledge railway certification processes
Ability to foster communications between multiple stakeholders (Customer, Assessment Bodies, internal and external ones) within technical context
Ability for getting into new topics for analysis, synthesis and problem-solving in a technical environment
Ability to plan and be factual, rigorous, organised and proactive
Able to work independently and in a team, set priorities and meet deadlines. Able to operate under pressure
Collaborative, determined and quality focused
Facility to conduct audits of technical inspections and to write reports (technical, audit, assessment).
English and Spanish language. Ability to work in multiple languages.
